Do I have to register to browse the CCDB website?
No. You do not have to register your details to browse the CCDB website. However, as a registered user you will have access to additional services and information.

How do I become a registered member of the CCDB website?
If you are an existing member of the Campbelltown Camden District Band, you can register your details via the Band Member Online Registration page. For non-band members please complete the Site Membership Registration Request form, including a brief description of why you would like to become a member on the CCDB website.

Why should I register?
Please note that membership to the CCDB website is not required for general browsing purposes. However, registered members will be entitled to additional services, such as information on future site improvements, new features, upcoming CCDB events, Band programme changes, and much more through the means of the website and our mailing list.

How long does it take to register?

If you are an existing member of the Campbelltown Camden District Band, the automated registration process should take no more then 5 to 10 minutes. Non-band members will need to complete the Site Membership Registration Request form and will need to be approved by the site administrator, but you will generally have a response within 24 hours.

Can different users register with the same email address?

No. Our database system uses individual email addresses and user names to identify and process registration information. Therefore, an email address can only be accepted once by our registration system at any one time. This rule also applies to user names, where a user name can only be used once. No two user names or email addresses can ever be identical in our system.

I use a shared email address, can I still register?
If you share an email address, our system will only allow for your email address to be entered the one time only. Therefore, we would suggest creating an additional email account via your internet service provider (ISP) or look at creating a free email account with one of the many alternative services available, such as Google Gmail, Yahoo!, MSN, and various other free email services. Existing band members, if you are still having issues with this after looking at these alternatives, please contact the site administrator to discuss what other options maybe available to you.

What happens if I forget my password?
If you have forgot or misplaced your password please visit the password retrieval page in order to reset your password. You will need to enter the exact email address you supplied when your user registration was first created.

What is the purpose of sending a confirmation email?
A confirmation email will be sent to your email address soon after your user registration is created. This is an anti-spam, anti-bot process in order to identify and confirm that the registration information has not been generated by an automated means such as spam-bots that set out to compromise site security. Please allow a few minutes for your confirmation email to arrive. However, if you have not received your confirmation email after 15 to 20 minutes please contact Site Support, providing the User Name and Email address that you have supplied during the registration process. At no time ever send your user password to anyone.

When will automatic registration close?
The automatic registration process will be dis-continued on the 18th December 2009. We have allowed this time frame in order to give Band Members enough time to become acquainted with the new site and have a sufficient amount of time to decide whether or not they wish to become a registered member.

Why are you closing the automatic registration process?
This is purely a precautionary measure to further guard against site attacks and abuse. The site administrators feel that as the CCDB website is ran on a voluntary basis, we do not have the time or resources to maintain consistent support required to manage the automated registration process, after the December, 18. Registration to the CCDB site will still be available, but on a request basis only. Registrations after this date will also need to be manually approved by an administrator and may take longer to process.

What should I do if I need help or further assistance?
If you are experiencing problems with your user registration or need assistance accessing information on the CCDB website please contact Site Support. Please do not direct your website related questions to other Band Member Officials.

If I need to contact Site Support, what information should I provide?
When reporting problems to Site Support, please provide your User Name and Registered Email Address, along with a brief description of the problem you are experiencing. Under no circumstance send us, or anyone else, your user password. If you are reporting a problem about a specific page or link, please provide the page or link title or URL in your message.
