The Senior Brass Quintet was formed in 1996 and its first performance was at the Band's 50th Anniversary Dinner. Since then the group entered and won the New South Wales Open Brass Ensemble Championships in 1997 and placed second in 1998. The quintet has also performed as guest artists at the 1999 Macarthur Performing Arts Society's "Macarthur on Show" concert.

This is the group to hire if you like the "live brass" sound but haven't got the space for 50 people.
