Year Joined the Band: 1981

Biography: Kath plays the Flute and piccolo, has dabbled with the saxophone, and would like to learn to play the French horn.

Kath is a Radiographer and specializes in Ultrasound. She also teaches the flute in her “spare” time.

Kath is the Section leader for the flutes and double reeds and is the band’s Librarian.

Hobbies: Her hobbies include sewing, gardening, reading and dancing.

Ambitions:To learn to play the piano well.

Favourite Band Moment:Playing in front of thousands of people in Besana, Italy and traveling through Europe.

Likes: Chocolate and shopping

Dislikes: rude people and naughty children

Why the Flute is the best instrument: It has the most beautiful primal sound.
