About the section…

Clarinets have been part of the band since way back when woodwind instruments joined the brass band, and we are now the largest section of the band.  The majority of our players progressed through the training bands of CCDB to make the transition to the Senior Band.  For the band's European trip in 2001 we will have 13 clari players touring.

Canberra 2000 Clari Section

As with half the band, half of the clari section are related to each other.  Three generations of Millard's include Sharyn and Brenden - sister and brother, with their mum Mary, and Sharyn's son Justin.  Michele and Rachel are sisters.  Catherine and Katherine may as well be twins; same name, age, hair colour, height and especially as they always wear the same coloured clothing!
