CCDB came 3rd in the B grade National Championships
Congratulations to our Concert Band who competed in the Australian National Band Championships on Easter Sunday, and gained 3rd place overall!!
This is a fantastic result!! For those of you who are new to banding, we had to perform four pieces, which were individually marked and the total points added up.
We played the hymn "Crown Him with many Crowns" (1st place!!), the test piece "Inspiration" (5th place), our own choice piece "Firestorm" (4th place) and a march "Stadt Langenthal" (2nd place).
Overall we received 436 points, just 5.5 points behind the winner Penrith Valley Concert Band, and 3 points behind the second place getters Castle Hill R.S.L Youth Concert Band.
